We were in search of a small play school with small class sizes and were thrilled to discover Nature’s House. Everything about Nature’s House has exceeded our expectations. Phumla and Tanya are exceptional with the children, fostering a warm, nurturing environment while teaching essential daily routines, knowledge, and the importance of togetherness.
The atmosphere is calm, playful, and perfectly suited to the kids. I also really like the thoughtfully curated collection of age-appropriate toys, which rotates each term.
I highly recommend Nature’s House to any parent seeking a loving and educational environment for their child.

I first heard of Nature’s House Preschool from colleagues whose children were either attending or had attended the preschool and it was their high praises of the caregivers and environment that initially led me to visit the school and when I did I understood why they spoke so highly of it.
Tanya and Phumla are one of the most kind-hearted and patient people I’ve met; they offer such a good and nurturing environment.
As a parent I know I’m leaving my daughter in good hands when I drop her off.
My daughter has enjoyed going there and I’ve seen her learn a variety of new things, the environment is conducive for inspiring curiosity through play – I would highly recommend it to any parent looking for a safe, Joyful and nurturing preschool for their child.

We actually paid a terms notice at another school to move our daughter to Natures House, because that’s how much we wanted her to attend. We wanted small classes with a good teacher to kid ratio, no/low sugar lunchbox guidelines and play based education that aligned with our values. We also wanted to be able to send our nanny with to help our daughter adjust to school, which Natures house encouraged. Tanya and Phumla are the kindest most nurturing caregivers and the type of humans I wanted my daughter to learn from in her formative years. We’ve been there since my daughter was 18 months (now 3). Couldn’t be happier. If you’re lucky enough to get a spot, don’t hesitate to take it.

Tanya was my son's pre-school teacher for almost three years. I have a busy, energetic, and rather challenging boy, yet Tanya's immense patience, kindness and compassion, and wonderful skills as a Montessori teacher, helped him enormously through three very tricky years. We were so sad to hear that Tanya was leaving (especially my son) but wish her so much success with her new school and know that all the kids who will have the privilege of being in her class will love her just as much as we do.
